I like The Loud House more, but I think Anne is a better protagonist.
Anne is better in my book. Her unlikability is supposed to be there when it appears (like in frog ball or whatever it’s called), and they adress it in a good way. Lincoln’s unlikability is that of a selfish kid. He is also foreshadows by the large main cast
If you want a biased answer.....
But in all seriousness, Anne is just a fantastic protagonist. Likable, relatable, hard working and helpful, great personal development, hilarious, great design, great voice acting... She’s really got it all. Probably my favorite in terms of all the Disney protagonists, even above Dipper and Luz, who also have a lot going for them.
Lincoln’s fine. I don’t hate him, but the Loud House is written in an episodic fashion that doesn’t really allow him any real development, he isn’t that funny on his own, his design and voice acting are alright. Simply put, Lincoln isn’t meant to carry his show the way Anne is. Amphibia is ABOUT Anne’s character development first and foremost, whereas the Loud House is about the life of the entire Loud Family and Lincoln is more or less the POV character. The comparison isn’t even remotely fair.
If you’re going to compare Anne to anyone, it’d be Luz. If you’re going to compare Lincoln to anyone... probably someone like Arnold or Timmy Turner. The current matchup doesn’t make much sense to be honest.
The reason I'm comparing Anne to Lincoln is because I've never seen The Owl House.
I like loud house but Anne is way better.
I would choose both
